Mathis air conditioning is the best when you need knowledge and experience for a system. My older home’s central system was added to the house 30 years after it was built with piecemeal equipment and wiring (no inspection necessary for electrical in my neck of the world). It’s a beast of a vintage venting system with archaic thermostats here and there. Mathis is the only Company that has been able to come right in and work on the issue without giving a blank look and saying, “l have never seen this before?”. I have used them for 15 years now and it hasn’t changed when it comes to knowledge and professionalism. I’m sure something could and has phazed them over the years on job sites , but l can’t imagine a set-up Scarier than mine. Speaking of scary, there’s nothing scarier than an a/c system being down to me. I have MS and heat causes a serious down time. Mathis is always responsive to this and is the only company l have trusted for upgrades (including thermostat!). Christi, on dispatch, fields the calls and the parts and accessories research, and is herself very knowledgeable and practical. She is also friendly and has the reassuring voice you want to hear when a system goes down in the Texas summer! I would never hesitate to recommend Mathis to anyone.

Overall great experience. Kerry communicated everything very well. We needed a replacement for one of our units and he listened to what we wanted and provided several options to review. He explained the different payment options as well as a cash option. He gave us a couple of dates to choose from for them to come out to install. Everything was very smooth. His crew was on time and very professional. We’ll continue to use Mathis in the future.

Clean install, great price. I’m a general contractor and have worked with a lot of subcontractors. Matt and Kerry are sharp guys and I’m glad I found them.

Kerry and his team did a great job on the install day. Even though it was a super rainy day, they didn’t track any mud in the house and were very respectful throughout the process. Their prices were the best we were able to find and they were great from beginning to end. Would definitely recommend them to others.

Christi & Matt with Mathis Air are absolutely amazing! Our upstairs HVAC unit started blowing hot air and I was panicked! I called Mathis and they were able to squeeze us in same day! Matt came out and was able to diagnose the problem quickly and went to get the part for us. He was able to get it running of the evening and came back the next day with the compressor size we needed and fix the problem.

He was quick and efficent and I am so grateful for him! Christi at the office is absolutely the best and was so helpful and kind. We will be using them again if ever needed in the future!
