We were using another HVAC vendor at our office and our electric bill was out of sight. We asked the other people to replace our old thermostats and were told they couldn’t until we purchased a new unit. I called Mathis for help. Mathis has been our HVAC go-to for almost a decade for our home and done top-notch work. Mathis came and did a full evaluation of our six AC units in my office building, helped us eliminate one because it wasn’t needed any longer, and installed five new thermostats. Within a month, my electric bill went from $2000 to less then $500 and has leveled out at $600-700 a month. Their help will end up saving me thousands of dollars just this year. I think Mathis Air and Heat is great! I LOVE my new system. MATHIS Air and Heat were there on time, met the owner as the morning went on, the crew was very professional, especially in this August heat. I can tell an immediate difference in the feel of my house from both a cooling and humidity correcting stand point. The THERMOSTAT, by Nexia…LOL It’s amazing! It tells me everything I need to know about the weather in North Texas even a 5 day forecast, let alone the wi-fi with the ability to program the temperature even if I’m not in the house. I appreciate the service and attention to detail that KERRY orchestrated to his crew; was also very surprised how fast they were in putting this new system in and hauling away the old one. Kerry, our sales rep, was very knowledgeable. He explained why our old system failed, why we needed a new system, and which new system he recommended. Independent research confirmed Kerry was correct. Kathy, in the office, efficiently kept us in touch, and was very easy to talk to. Juan and Cesar, the installers, were polite, efficient, and neat. Mathis provided us access to funding for our project, and even loaned us a portable AC unit for the weekend. We highly recommend Mathis Air and will use them for future maintenance.

I had to get a whole new system replaced in my new home. Everyone on the team was great. Christie was nice and patient with me. She had great communication the entire time. She gave me options and broke everything down for me. She even worked to get my new system installed ASAP, especially having a 4 week old in a house with no AC. Kerry also did a great job. He came out quickly to do the initial inspection, stayed in communication and made sure we were good the entire time. The whole process from choosing the system, setting up financing and installation was smooth, easy and stress free. And now I can enjoy AC just in time for summer to come.

If you air and looking for someone that’s fair I recommend Mathis Air

Mathis air conditioning is the best when you need knowledge and experience for a system. My older home’s central system was added to the house 30 years after it was built with piecemeal equipment and wiring (no inspection necessary for electrical in my neck of the world). It’s a beast of a vintage venting system with archaic thermostats here and there. Mathis is the only Company that has been able to come right in and work on the issue without giving a blank look and saying, “l have never seen this before?”. I have used them for 15 years now and it hasn’t changed when it comes to knowledge and professionalism. I’m sure something could and has phazed them over the years on job sites , but l can’t imagine a set-up Scarier than mine. Speaking of scary, there’s nothing scarier than an a/c system being down to me. I have MS and heat causes a serious down time. Mathis is always responsive to this and is the only company l have trusted for upgrades (including thermostat!). Christi, on dispatch, fields the calls and the parts and accessories research, and is herself very knowledgeable and practical. She is also friendly and has the reassuring voice you want to hear when a system goes down in the Texas summer! I would never hesitate to recommend Mathis to anyone.

Mathis Air and Heat is the best deal in town. In May 2018 I bought an entire new system at less than half of competitors price. In January 2019, unit stopped heating. Matt Mathis came to our house and fixed the problem. He responded to our call in less than two hours. He also connected me to my phone so I can control my thermostat by phone. I highly recommend Mathis Air & Heat. He told me of other service (ie security cameras) I was under no pressure to purchase , just informed. I’m totally satisfied ????
